I’m a journalist-turned-marketer with more than 18 years of experience creating award-winning digital content and social media strategies for a range of clients, from small businesses to major national brands. I’ve worked as a digital content strategist at one of the Southeast’s top advertising agencies and as the director of content marketing and social media for a nationwide education provider. Today, I lead digital content, social media, and SEO for a leading financial services brand.
I still enjoy the occasional reporting assignment, and my work has been featured by Mediabistro.com, Adweek.com, and Birmingham magazine.
I have a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in communication management. My graduate research focused on the effects of digital technology on human communication and the implications for marketers and media professionals.
